Long before a garment takes shape, its quality is decided by the wool itself. We work with a small number of trusted mills, chosen for consistency and for how the yarn behaves over years of wear — not just how it looks on day one.
Softness matters, but so does structure. A good knitting wool needs enough integrity to hold a pattern crisply through blocking, washing, and the ordinary wear of a Swiss winter.
It's a slower, more deliberate way of sourcing — but it's the only way we know to make something meant to last.
